For Halloween this year, I and a group of friends are going to the Renaissance Fair. Because of the season, they are holding costume contests, etc. Though not wanting to stray far from the ren fair theme, we decided to spruce it up a bit and stand out. So we are going Steampunk! Thanks to many wonderful deviantArters, I was able to look at different ideas and concepts that have helped me form my own steampunk identity. I also used Etsy.com to find some home-made goods that are adding an extra flair. So this is a shout out to you steampunk fans who have "been there and done that". I look forward to posting pictures of our adventures in a few weeks!
